Rick Amor Biography

Rick Amor completed a certificate of Art in Caulfield Institute of Technology in 1965,Studied at National Gallery School,Melbourne where he received an Associate Diploma of Painting in 1968. RICK AMOR currently lives and works in Melbourne. He Began exhibiting at the Joseph Brown Gallery in 1974,Amor has entered the Archibald Prize at least 11 times , he was one of the first Australian Artists to be appointed as the Official War Artist to East Timor by the Australian War Memorial. Rick Amor has held over 40 solo exhibitions, a major survey Exhibition of his Paintings was curated by McClelland Gallery in 1990.
