Elisabeth Kruger

Born in Noumea in 1955, lives and works in NSW. Has won the Moet et Chandon, Australian Art Fellowship.

Kruger was born in Noumea, New Caledonia in 1955 She currently lives and works in New South Wales. She has held many group and solo exhibitions since her first exhibition in 1978. In 1989 she was awarded the prestigious Moet et Chandon, Australian Art Fellowship and also that year awarded a Craftsman in Residence at Sturt Workshops, Mittagong by Crafts Council of Australia. Her work is held by the ACT Government, ACT Legislative Assembly, ANZ Bank Collection, Melbourne, Artbank, Australian National Gallery, Canberra, Australian National University, Canberra, Deakin University, Macquarie University,Moet et Chandon, Epernay, France, National Gallery of Victoria, University of Canberra, Wesfarmers Collection as well as in private collections.
